What You Will Do​

• Design, architect and code critical capabilities in an active Agile environment using JAVA.

• Develop innovative new features for a new real-time situational awareness Command & Control Systems (C2)

• Work in a highly collaborate team environment to design, architect and innovate software solutions.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Experience in software development using core Java.

• Strong computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, information retrieval. Relevant work experience with full life cycle development including exposure to software requirements, design, development, debug and test.

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance is required. U. S. citizenship is required as only U. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer​

• Relevant work experience in software development using object oriented paradigms and multithreaded systems.

• Ability to engage & build positive relationships with both customers as well as internal & external employees.

• Opportunities for travel to customer sites for demos, integration and support.

• Ability to react to change, handle tasks productively, & achieve results in a matrix environment

• Experience with Container Orchestration implementation such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift

Employee Referral Eligible

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
