We are looking for a Senior Network Installation Specialist who will support a large federal agency's Network Infrastructure at the customer site in Fort Meade, MD, with required travel.

Your Role:
You will play a pivotal role in the Defense Enclave Services contract, which aims to unify the DOD's Fourth Estate Defense Agencies and Field Activities regarding their common information technology systems. Your responsibilities will include the survey, design, and deployment of structured networks and ensuring the security posture of the environment through various projects such as installations, lifecycle replacements, and compliance with commercial, TEMPEST, and NIST standards.

Clearance Requirement:
Must hold an active Top Secret security clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI. (US Citizenship required)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead network surveys, designs, and installations following government directives.
Conduct comprehensive Site Surveys of customer premise networks in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Create detailed Site Survey reports assessing current infrastructure, NIST and TEMPEST compliance, with design recommendations.
Configure, install, test, certify, and troubleshoot network infrastructure cabling.
Ensure network cabling is compliant with current NIST and TEMPEST standards.
Build and install equipment racks.
Install, dress, label, and terminate Cat6 and Fiber cable in telecommunications rooms.
Test and troubleshoot network infrastructure issues on SIPR and NIPR networks.
Produce accurate reports and documentation for design/certification of network infrastructure.
Track and manage project tasks to ensure timely completion.
Develop Bills of Material (BOM) for network plant design requirements.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance and scheduled upgrades (life-cycle replacements).
Investigate and resolve physical faults in the network.
Report infrastructure deployment status to key stakeholders.
Be flexible with working hours to support off-hour work as necessary.

Must Haves:

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience; additional years may substitute for a degree.
Understanding of ANSI/TIA-568 and 569 standards.
Knowledge of Protective Distribution Systems (PDS) requirements for Classified Systems per Security guidelines.
Familiarity with National Security Telecommunication & Information Systems Security Instruction (NTISSI) 7003.
Knowledge of DISA network topologies and standards.
Experience with topology and rack elevations using Visio.
Proven experience with OTDR, cable testers, and network sniffers for infrastructure certification documentation.

Nice to Haves:

BICSI certification.
Sec+ certification.

DISADES

Pay Range: $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
