This position is located in USCIS, Office of Chief Counsel, Camp Springs, Maryland.

As an Executive Officer , you will be responsible for directing the day-to-day management of resources within the Office of the Chief Counsel.
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:
59 PM (Eastern Time) on 01/09/2025.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service.
The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:
59 PM (Eastern Time) on 01/09/2025 .
Qualifications:
You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have experience performing the following duties:

Supervising a staff of Analyst, Specialists, and Legal Support personnel that evaluates the performance of those being supervised.
Providing technical and administrative guidance to the Office of the Chief Counsel.
Coordinating and checking draft budgets for consistency with laws, policies and regulations and plans for and projects that relate to future space needs for the program.
Coordinating legal program administrative needs between Head Quarters and Field Offices.
Planning, implementing and directing administrative oversight of legal program activities including personnel, budget, travel, procurement, property management and facilities.
