Job Summary

Supports the day-to-day operations of the branch in providing customer service. Processes return purchase order credits from vendors. (RMPOs). Researches and resolves discrepancies in quantity and pricing on non-stock items.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

* Processes customer returns, oversees damage and defective inventory returns, while being the branch lead for CMI-VMI.

* Processes return purchase order credits from vendors. (RMPOs)

* Researches and resolves discrepancies in quantity and pricing on non-stock items.

* Oversees cash deposits for branch and branch cash box accuracy

* Informs proper departments of inventory discrepancies and other inventory problems or concerns.

Non-essential Functions

* May assist in providing customer service functions, including but not limited to answering phones, expediting and resolving customer service issues

* Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.

Qualifications

* Two-year business/trade degree or the equivalent in work experience.

* Prior electrical distribution experience with good knowledge of electrical products or systems preferred.

* Possess a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.

* Good working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), Internet, email and SAP software preferred.

* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication reading skills.

* Ability to effectively plan and organize.

* Excellent customer service skills include being competent, accurate, responsive and engaged.
