Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced XRay Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating X-ray machines to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have a Maryland License-Certified Medical Radiation Tech, American Heart Association CPR Certification, and ARRT Certification, with 1-3 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
• Operate X-ray machines to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and instructing them on breathing and movement techniques
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff, following established protocols and guidelines
• Process and analyze images, using knowledge of anatomy and physiology to identify potential issues
• Provide images to radiologists for interpretation and diagnosis
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and imaging results
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in X-ray technology
Requirements:
• Maryland License-Certified Medical Radiation Tech
• American Heart Association CPR Certification
• ARRT Certification
• 1-3 years of experience as an XRay Technologist
• Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
