License: Active MD or Compact License
Certifications: BLS and PALS
Must-Have: Comfortable floating within hospital with no restrictions, 2 satisfactory professional references required from most recent employers
• Work primarily in Pediatric Progressive Care Unit (Peds PCU).
• Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and monitor patient progress.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines ensuring high standards of care.
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Complete a mandatory orientation of 24 hours.
• Maintain compliance with flu vaccination requirements.
• Ability to travel for lab work within 72 hours of contract signing.
• One major holiday off during the winter season may be available.
Additional Information:
• Compliance documentation must be completed 5 days prior to the start date.
• Traveler policy states a return gap of 6 months, and for former staff, a gap of 12 months is mandatory before reapplying.
• Locals within 50 miles are ineligible.
• Must include any time off requests during initial application. Changes not permitted once submitted or extended.
