Job Title: Ultrasound Technician
Job Specialty: General Ultrasound with a focus on Obstetrics
Job Duration: 6 months
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required; open to screening candidates with less
License: Must have appropriate state license
Certifications: BLS, RDMS-OB, Nuchal Translucency
Must-Have:
• Ability to perform OB Ultrasounds
• Previous travel assignment experience
• Two supervisor references
• Conduct Doppler Studies and M-Mode exams
• Handle high-risk obstetrics and nuchal translucency screenings
• Operate GE ultrasound equipment
• Preferred skills in diagnostic imaging
• Utilize Cerner charting system
• Complete orientation of 28 hours, with modules possibly taking up to an average of 12 hours
• Vaccination for the flu is mandatory
• Wear scrubs in any color except all navy, all black, or all gray
• Must be willing to accept possible no-interview submissions
• No exemptions for flu vaccine requirements
• Must have RTO (Requests for Time Off) submitted in advance and cannot be changed once submitted for approval
