GliaCell is seeking a Mid-Level Web Developer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.
Codes less complex websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages
Support website planning and deployment
Maintain a functioning user-accessible website
Maintain website technical documentation to assist with website maintenance and upgrades
Apply concepts, develops, tests, maintain and supports high-performance, innovative web-based applications
Use a variety of internet technologies, techniques and tools such as graphics software applications and object-oriented languages (e.g. Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML) to create web page elements such as user interface features, site animation, special effects, databases, and e-business applications
Integrate new web products with existing web applications in order to improve the functionality or design of the organization's website
Key Requirements:
To be considered for this position you must have the following:
Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
Be a U.S. Citizen.
8+ years with a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Systems Engineering (or related field), or 24+ years without the degree.
Desired Experience:
HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages
Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML, or other to create web page elements
Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland / Partial Telework (up to 16 hours per week)
Salary Range: The salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 to $190,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across our projects. Within the range, your salary is determined by your individual benefits package selection. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred position during the hiring process.
