Job Purpose:

Works closely with Sales to ensure financial models are developed in a timely manner and meeting the profitability goals. Works to ensure creative pricing techniques are used to meet revenue, margin and renewal rates.
THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION OUT OF THE PLANO OFFICE.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures.
Supporting Sales Senior Management Team and Department heads with in-depth analysis of budget vs. actuals.
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances on the models
Drive consistency and best practice in the financial engineering team for the financial models.
Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Marketing, BI, and other departments to develop new and enhanced existing reporting tools in order to ensure the sales leaders have a 360-degree view of the different contributors driving financial and operational attainment.
Ensure Financial Engineering Team use consistently shared Services allocations are properly assigned to corresponding verticals and leaders understand what employees and costs are being assigned.
Ensure approval workflow on sales opportunities meets company's governance
Organize Deal Financial Calls in the most efficient way maximizing the time for each attendee.
Work with Finance, Accounting, and the BI team to ensure products and contracts reflect the correct margins.
Hold monthly Financial and Operational review meetings to discuss results and improvements to be made.
Develop financial models and analysis of various opportunities including new business, renewals, add-ons, change requests, etc.; analyze complex financial information to provide recommendations to senior management.
Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
Work with sales and operations department owners on SG&A/headcount budget including operations forecasting.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Demonstrated record of career progression
Outstanding analytical skills and a proven ability to connect data analysis with business issues and decisions
Advanced Excel and financial modeling experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks, cope with multiple deadlines, dynamically changing environment, and work under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
Capability for effective planning and priority setting.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of direct finance or accounting experience, including applicable financial, planning, and analysis experience
Previous management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or an MBA
Experience with complex government contracts
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment. Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
