Summary
This position is located in the Government Accountability Office (GAO), Infrastructure Operations (IO), and Records and Privacy (RP). RP is responsible for a large volume of official agency records that must be identified, controlled, accessed and used to support the onging business of GAO and promote auditability and compliance with the Federal Records Act and other laws and regulations.

Duties
As a Management Analyst ,

PT - 0343-2your typical work assignments may include the following:

Uses qualitative and quantitative analytical skills in analyzing, evaluating and improving the efficiency of internal administrative operations.
Conducts studies and assessments and develops recommendations or modifications to improve programs and operations.
Studies, identifies and analyzes best practices in productivity, organizational improvement and program improvement and recommends options and alternatives for implementation within Infrastructure Operations programs and technical and administrative operations.
Makes recommendations to improve operations through various documents, reports and briefing papers to support analyses and recommendations.
Recommends and participates in the development of policies and procedures to support program and technical operations.
Works closely with staff to develop methodologies and strategies to improve the quality of programs and services delivered.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the BAND PT-2 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
Applicants must have at least one year (52 Weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 or NEXT LOWER BAND level equivalent to the PT-1, AC-3, PE-1, CS-1 in the federal service, which has equipped the applicant with the skills and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Specialized experience is defined as experience:

Assists with implementing records management policies and procedures;

OR
Supports a training process and the development of training materials.
