We're seeking a dependable and self-starter Pr operty Manager to join our team in the Madison, IN area. The Property M anager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the property . Duties include but not limited to collecting rents, filing evictions, annual recertifications , move-ins, move-outs, unit inspections, preparation for State inspections.
Properties:
Riverside Tower Lofts - 1001 W 2nd Street, Madison, IN 47250 (50 units).
Clifton Heights - 401 Virginia Ave., Madison, IN 47250 (48 units).
Job Type : Full-time ( 40 hours per week).
Work Schedule: 8 : 0 0 AM to 4 : 3 0 PM, Monday-Friday.
Compensation: $ 22 . 0 0 per hour, plus monthly cell phone reimbursement.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Previous property management experience .
Prof icient computer skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Effectively communicates with staff, residents, vendors and other individuals.
Excellent customer service skills and able to work well in a team environment.
Steady work history.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel for training.
Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Responsibilities:
Assumes responsibility for the leasing and effectively marketing the property.
Markets, forecasts, and projects upcoming move-outs in order to fill units quickly and maintain target occupancy.
Completes applicant screenings to determine eligibility.
Shows units to prospective residents.
Adheres to all HUD, Rural Development, Tax Credit, Public Housing and/or Conventional Housing standards.
Completes appropriate paperwork and follows compliance guidelines for leasing.
Responsible for collecting and depositing rent payments.
Other related tasks.
