Experience: Minimum of 2 years in respiratory care; 1 year in a critical care setting preferred
License: IN Respiratory Therapist License
Certifications:
• Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, RRT
• Desired: Additional state certifications
Must-Have:
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care
• State Respiratory Therapist certification
• Skills in blood draws - ABG, A-line management, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, trach care
• Perform respiratory therapy patient assessments and document in Meditech Charting
• Manage and operate common respiratory care equipment such as PB 980, PB 840, V60, VAPORTHERM, and AIRVO
• Provide tracheostomy care, airway management, and perform blood gas analyses
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans
• Maintain patient safety and ensure clinical standards are met throughout the shift
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Exhibit adaptability while working in diverse clinical environments

• Scrubs of any color are permitted on this unit.
