We have an incredible 1st shift, Direct Hire, opportunity for an experienced Machinist in the central Pinellas area. In this role you will begin accruing PTO, benefits and 401K opportunities from day 1! Hours will be 8 to 4:00 Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities :
•Interpret and analyze blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications to produce high-quality parts.
•Set up and operate machines such as lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
•Utilize manual and digital micrometers and other measuring tools to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances.
•Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•Collaborate with the team to improve processes and meet production deadlines.
Qualifications:
•Proven experience as a machinist, with a focus on metalworking. Ideally look for a person with at least 3 years of experience.
•Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings.
•Hands-on experience with lathes, milling machines, and other machining tools.
•Skilled in using manual and digital micrometers and other precision measurement instruments.
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $60,000.00 - $70,000.00
