Senior Designer

Where would you step in?
As a valuable member of our Water team, you will support project managers and engineers on the development of vertical projects, primarily consisting of wastewater and water treatment facilities and pumping stations.
You will report to the Tighe & Bond office closest to your home on a hybrid basis with summer Fridays, with the possibility of working fully remote for the right candidate.

Our Wastewater Team and Projects
Nearly 100 professional engineers strong and recent recipients of multiple ACEC Engineering Excellence and ASCE Project Awards, our senior technical and project management leaders have earned an outstanding reputation with private, state, and local government clients.
We provide planning, design, and construction phase services for the new construction, rehabilitation, and upgrading of water and wastewater treatment facilities and pump stations.
We also provide design and construction phase services for municipal infrastructure systems (sewer, water, storm drains, and roads), buildings (maintenance facilities, offices, and schools), dams and spillways, and bridges.

What will you be doing?
As a Senior Revit Designer, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the Revit design and drafting aspects of water-related projects.
Your responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones, providing technical expertise in process mechanical piping and equipment design, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs within project timelines and client expectations.
Simultaneously, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of Revit design standards, offering support to project teams in standards compliance and best practices.
Your role will involve close collaboration with internal stakeholders to refine and optimize design processes, skillfully balancing workload between project delivery responsibilities and standards development initiatives.

What do you need?
You will need ten plus years of experience supporting project managers and engineers.
You should have specific experience in the development of wastewater and water treatment, pumping stations, chemical feed, HVAC / plumbing, and electrical systems.
You should have a proficiency working in Revit and AutoCAD.
You should have a diploma or certificate in civil technology or the equivalent of practical training.
You should have a broad understanding of engineering drawings.

Senior Designers salaries are determined based on internal equity and market analysis and will vary based on the candidate's skill and experience; the salary range for this position is $81,079-$106,416.
