NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a LPN / LVN for a travel job in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

Travel This is an Acute Detox/Addiction inpatient facility with a max bed count of 9.
It is attached to an outpatient facility for additional behavioral health counseling and therapy.
No first time travelers will be accepted Our Glenwood Springs based therapists specialize in evidence-based practices, meaning the treatment you or a loved one will receive has been proven to be effective.
We help seniors, adults, children and adolescents.
We have same-day appointments available.

We provide counseling and therapy for:
schizophrenia, addiction, suicidal thoughts, PTSD, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder, ADHD and depression.

Variable (Mostly nights to be expected).

13 Weeks Required:
Previous travel experience; no first time travelers will be accepted Must have acute inpatient LPN experience experience can be from any specialty, but MUST be inpatient acute Must have the ability to work independently only one LPN will work on unit at a time Provider and RN would be available 24/7 but are remote Must be comfortable and competent working with acutely detoxing patients who are either detoxing from alcohol and/or drugs patients are there for detox so can be in acute withdrawal and have side effects such as severe anger, agitation, or any other withdrawal symptoms must be comfortable with performing CIWA and/or COW scoring for withdraw patients must be able to recognize need for medications secondary to withdraw License:
CO or Multistate Certs:
BLS, NAPPI (NAPPI is through welle and can be obtained during orientation if needed) Preferred:
Detox, Psych, Behavioral health experience Day to Day:
Manage and administer medication Visual Assessments Charting Vitals Delegation to support staff
