Summary:
To operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner.Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs.Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints and set-up sheets.Completes equipment set-up's in accordance with customer specifications and quality procedures.Records length of time for each job.Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed.Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.Required to pass the Certified Operator Program and maintain certification status.Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.Performs other related duties as assigned.Skills:

Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forkliftsPhysical Requirements:
