The part-time Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO), as well as the Radio Frequency (RF) and Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) Design Team Managers. This position handles all general coordinating needs for the office in Waltham, MA.

What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)

Responsible for analysis, coordination, and ordering all lab supplies.
Works closely with the office landlord facilities team for general maintenance and ordering of supplies. Informs appropriate staff of maintenance concerns and/or improvements needed to properly maintain the facility.
Responsible for ordering all office and cafeteria supplies.
Organize meetings among the team internally, the other Eta office, as well as Murata Electronics offices.
Handle incoming and outgoing shipping by US Mail and FedEx.
Provides administrative support to the engineering team.

Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities

Provide support to facilities as needed.
Support any visitors getting from the building lobby to our conference room, acting as the Facilities receptionist.
Support completing any paperwork as needed, i.e. purchase orders or patent assignment signature documents.
Perform other duties as needed.

What Is Required (Qualifications)

High school diploma.
Minimum two+ years of related work experience.
Able to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Ability to demonstrate professional interpersonal skills including effective collaboration and communication, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and strong proficiency in organizational skills.
Problem solving and decision-making skills, high attention to details, and must be adaptable with the ability to consistently deal with ever-changing conditions.

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Some college coursework in business.
Ability to speak, read, and write in Japanese.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and OneNote.
