This role provides direct care to inpatients and their families on an acute 12 bed medical-psychiatric unit based in our Waltham location
This Inpatient Psychiatry Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:
Providing direct care to inpatients and their families on an acute 12 bed medical-psychiatric unit.
Providing individual and family therapy within a multidisciplinary team.
Making behavioral health referrals to specialty providers.
To qualify, you must have:
A Master's degree in Social Work, LICSW licensure in the state of MA is required
Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience working with children in an acute psychiatric setting preferred
