IntelliSource is searching for a Field Service Engineer to join our biotech partner's team. This role will be traveling around the Alabama, Jackson, MS and Tallahassee, FL area servicing ICPMS/ICP-OES/GC and LC equipment vital to our partner's operations. This Mid-level role comes with robust training and great long-term growth potential within the team and department. Must be willing to do daily a d overnight travel to customer sites.

Pay-65k-70k yearly based on experience

Schedule -M-F (overnights required occasionally)

Field Service Engineer - Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for supporting our customers with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of company and multi-vendor Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectroscopy (ICP-MS/ICP-OES) and GC/LC equipment. Our varied product lines include hardware, software, networking products, and operating systems.

Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites
Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems
Performs maintenance and repairs
Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance
Proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business
Deliver fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software
Train other field engineers and customers in the solutions

Field Service Engineer - Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree within the science field - e.g. Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or similar
Strong technical skills
Demonstrated ability in a similar position or as an end-user preferred
3-4 years experience with ICP-MS/ICP-OES/GC/LC instruments preferred
Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving
Verbal and written communication is clear, respectful and timely.
Must have a valid Driver's License
Must be willing to travel throughout Alabama, Jackson MS and Tallahassee FL
