License: Active Massachusetts RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Must-Have: Ability to read telemetry strips; Telemetry competency
Description:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU.
We care for a wide range of adult patients with diagnoses such as Sepsis, GI bleed, Respiratory failure, Cardiac arrest, Renal failure, DKA, and cardiogenic shock.
Attendings and Residents are present in the ICU 24 hours a day.
Floating is required when needed, primarily to Medical/Surgical Units.
All day positions may require rotation between 7 AM-7 PM, 11 AM-11 PM, or 7 PM-7 AM shifts when needed.
Night shift does not rotate.
RN to Patient Ratio is 1:2 or 1:1 for high acuity patients.
Patient population is adult.
