Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse
Contract Duration 13 Weeks
Pay range $60 - 70/hr
Work Type: Onsite
Shift/Time Zone: Day/Evening/Night Rotation, with Call and Occasional Weekend Shifts
Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room (OR) and make a significant impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Assist with surgical procedures, including circulating and scrubbing.
Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the OR.
Adhere to strict infection control guidelines.
Document patient care accurately and timely.
Job Requirements:
Licensure: An active Massachusetts RN license and BLS certification are required.
Experience: 1-2 years of OR experience preferred.
Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccines (including booster) and the 2024-2025 flu vaccine are required at the time of submission. Declinations will not be accepted. If the candidate does not have the current flu vaccine, they must attest to receiving it before starting.
Employment History: Cannot have worked permanently or as a traveler for any Beth Israel facility within the past year.
