Boston Medical Center (BMC) is a leading healthcare provider in New England, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and community-based services. We are seeking a skilled Recovery LPN to join our Brockton Behavioral Health Clinical Stabilization Services team.
About the Role
This Per Diem position requires an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide clinical and administrative support to patients undergoing recovery-oriented SUD treatment. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and facilitate patient access to resources and community recovery groups.
Key Responsibilities
Engage patients in residential treatment settings and provide essential care, including vital sign recording and medication administration.
Perform specialized testing, such as EKGs and urine drug screening, and maintain accurate records.
Assist with triaging sick complaints from residential patients and communicate with providers as needed.
In collaboration with behavioral health counselors, assist patients in developing recovery plans and providing ongoing support.
Document patient encounters and interventions in the electronic medical record.
Requirements and Qualifications
Current license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
CPR & BLS/First Aid certification upon hire.
Previous experience working with substance abuse patient populations preferred.
Proficiency in Epic EMR a plus.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
