We are an established software company with a growing federal business.
Our software platform heavily leverages AI and is pushing the limits of technology daily.
We are building out a new software engineering team dedicated to the federal space and have 10 openings at various levels from junior/mid-level to Principal Engineer currently.
A strong candidate will have 3+ years of professional software development experience with expertise in Python (Django) and at least a Top Secret Clearance.
For those with a Top Secret Clearance, we will sponsor you for a TS SCI clearance and you will be able to start working immediately on a provisional TS SCI clearance.
This team of 10 will work on-site with the federal end client (US Air Force) at Eglin AFB, and also with our core Product team.
In this role, you will both get the opportunity to solve real-world challenges for the US Air Force through daily software development and impact the direction of our core product.
Over time, there may be an opportunity to transition to a role in the core Product Development team which would be a 100% remote position and a career path within the tech industry as a core product engineer.

What You'll Do
Write code daily (Python/Django & JavaScript)
Develop, plan, and document internal REST APIs.
Work with our core team to build and maintain our backend services
Work with our Product Managers to inform the product roadmap and develop feature specifications
Work with the US Air Force to build solutions and systems leveraging our AI driven technology platform
Integrate with various services
Participate in code reviews, investigate and fix bugs
You Might Be a Fit If You have:

Active Top Secret Clearance is required.
Ability to attain SCI access
BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related field
3+ years professional experience with Python (you are highly proficient)
Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
Experience working at the database level
