Primary Talent Partners has an 8 month contract opening for a Project Management Specialist (RTE) to join a multinational medical device company for a hybrid position operating out of Boston, MA.
Pay: $55.00/hr - $75.00/hr based on experience
Contract: 8 months, extensions likely, conversion possible
Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide Visa Sponsorship
Hybrid: (3 days in person , 2 days WFH)
Responsibilities (This is an Release Train Engineering role):
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules, design stage reviews and prepares status reports.
Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with Microsoft suite of tools (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.)
SAFe SPC certified is needed and would be a strong plus.
Experience leading diverse and complex projects and programs
Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration (MBA)
Independent thinker with the ability to take both a commercial and operational view of complex situations
Ability to solve highly complex problems across multiple business functions
Experience with ProChain, JIRA, JAMA or PDware
Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP)
Project Management, Engineering, or Technical Service experience
Experience with medical devices, aerospace, imaging technology or other highly technical regulated disciplines
