Sales Specialist - Commodities.

Sell LSEG Commodities products, solutions, and services to the senior management level of client institutions. The position will develop existing account relationships, cultivate new business, and cross- and up-sell new products and services. Subsequently, growing the Commodities communities across Agriculture, Gas, Power, Coal, Carbon, Metals, Oil, & Weather!
Day to Day Responsibilities :
• Drive community adoption of our products and services in the Commodities marketplace in US & Canada - leading to sustained, consistent sales of Recurring & Outright solutions to achieve annual sales target.
• Proactively work to develop and implement sales strategies for accounts, such as to introduce new value propositions including competitive displacement programs at new and existing accounts in collaboration with Account Managers.
• Target and drive large scale enterprise-wide renewals and new opportunities related to end-user workflow in new and existing customers.
• Lead client meetings to carry out product demonstrations and presentations with the objective of gaining new business.
• Lead sales campaigns to achieve increased product market penetration.
• Collaborate with the Commodities Proposition and Sales Readiness teams to foster product ideas and provide client feedback.
• Maintain accurate rolling sales forecast more than assigned monthly quota in Salesforce and build customer contact database.

• Articulate, hardworking, self-motivated and ability to prioritize.

• Excellent financial and quantitative conceptual ability
• Ability to multi-task and delegate when appropriate
• Strong telephone sales and presentation skills with clients/prospects at all levels
• Demonstrated ability selling financial industry products.
• Prior Account Management/Sales experience working with Banks and Investment Managers.
• Consistent record meeting sales quotas and pipeline management
• Strong client relationships and a proven track record of providing a high level of customer service.
• Experience identifying and cultivating new accounts and use of prospecting tools (i.e. LinkedIn)
• Outstanding communication and negotiating skills as well as strong collaboration skills working with internal teams
• Ability to travel as needed
Education:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $142,600 - $265,000. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
