The Wound care LPN provides patient care to patients and handles patient intake and discharge process.
Requirements
Current License from MS State Board of Nursing, in good standing
CPR/BLS certification
Wound Care experience strongly preferred
Wound Care Certification strongly preferred
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides care to wound Care patients in accordance with hospital and nursing standards
Participates in quality improvement initiatives, providing education to the patient and caregiver, and serves as a patient advocate in the delivery and coordination of patient care
Collaborates as needed with other healthcare providers, Wound Care Providers, and Program Director regarding patient needs
May function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe)
Performs other duties as required
