Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Full-time, Weekend Days

at our 434-bed regional referral center and tertiary-care facility. We offer a work environment that fosters growth, perfect for a nurse looking to move into inpatient care or for an experienced nurse looking to make a change.

Responsibilities

Functions under supervision of RN Team Leader and performs delegated tasks, serving as a care partner to RN/Team Leader.
Tasks performed are in compliance with department and hospital policies and procedures and within education preparation as well as Alabama Nurse Practice Act.
Participates in the implementation and evaluation of patient care.
Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of tasks.
High school diploma and certification as a licensed practical nurse.
Associates degree in Nursing and basic life support required.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
