Procedures:
NRP, PALS, must have at least 3 years of recent experience working in a Level III NICU but they prefer Level IV experience. Very high acuity cases. PIC Line experience preferred, there is not a PIC line team and the NNP's do them. Providing care for infants 23 weeks to 1 year of life with variety of issues. NNPs attend high risk deliveries with support from the NICU RNs and RTs so they must have recent experience attending deliveries and be comfortable with it.
