The ideal Behavior Consultant candidate has Indiana Medicaid Waiver Therapist/Behavior Consultant experience working with families, children, adults, individuals, and staff, utilizing the philosophies and measures with a proven track record of producing results.

What You'll Do

As a Behavior Consultant at AccessAbilities, Inc., you will work closely with our amazing team of Behavior Consultants to provide behavior management services in accordance with 460iac in a supportive environment. Behavior Consultants hold sessions in the community and the individual's home.

Manage a caseload of individuals, including staying within the contract hours and meeting the billable hours requirement.
Complete assessments, observations, Behavior Support Plans, and reports in a timely and thorough manner.
Train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and families on Behavior Support Plans.

Requirements

Who We're Looking For

A master's degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology, or another applied health service area of psychology, applied behavior analysis, special education, social work, or counseling.
Experience working with the Medicaid Waiver.
Willingness to drive to and throughout the Lafayette area, and hold sessions in-person.
Obtain 10 CEUs per year.
Willingness to work evenings as necessary to meet the needs of the individuals.
The ability to collaborate with local agencies and co-workers.
Professionalism, including the ability to build rapport, collaborate and handle difficult situations with the clinical team and family.
Have an acceptable driving record and valid auto insurance coverage.
