• (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)*Full-Time Contractor (1099)*Location: West Monroe, LA*Reports to: Clinical Director for The Hope Center*Revised: 10/10/2024*Pay Rate: $70-100/hr (70% of billable services)*JOB PURPOSE:*

The Hope Center, the Counseling and Medication Management Clinic of The Center for Children and Families (CFCF), is seeking a passionate and competent Licensed Counselor. This professional is responsible for providing counseling services to children, individuals, and families wishing to receive care. We are looking for someone with compassion and dedication, ready to build trust and rapport with clients, and able to navigate challenging dynamics. By offering hope and support, you help families envision and work toward a healthier, more stable future, making a profound impact on their lives and the community.
• QUALIFICATIONS:*

The Licensed Counselor should have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work
• Licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Louisiana
• Preference given to a clinician who has completed EMDR Basic Training or shows interest in being trained in EMDR. (Training costs will be covered for full-time contractors).
• Ability to work cooperatively with different types of personalities
• Knowledge and understanding of word processing programs, excel, outlook, and ability to utilize electronic health records/practice management systems
• Ability to work well in a team setting
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Ability to organize files and electronic information
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Commitment to organizational goals and mission
• ACCOUNTABILITY:*

The Licensed Counselor is hired by the Clinical Director for The Hope Center, and reports directly to him or her. Additionally, the Clinical Director will be responsible for the performance monitoring of the Licensed Counselor.
• DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* Conduct counseling sessions for new and established clients
• Work primarily in office with some telehealth options
• Ethically follow an established treatment plan with clients
• Complete progress notes
• Update and maintain client records
• Maintain all confidential information
• Attend staff meetings
• Complete all paperwork in a necessary timely manner
• Complete weekly invoices
• Make telephone contact as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• PAY & COMPENSATION INFORMATION:*Job type:* Full-time, independent contractor position (1099)
• Caseload: *20-25 clients
• Pay Rate: *$70-100/hr (70% of billable services)

Common eye, hand, and finger dexterity are required to perform some essential functions.
