Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a temporary position in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Key Responsibilities: Perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans on patients according to medical protocols and procedures.
Communicate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
Maintain a clean and safe environment during MRI procedures.
Operate MRI equipment, including adjusting settings and ensuring proper functioning.
Requirements: One to three years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
Certifications may be required for this position.
Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
PC skills.
Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
