JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Work Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm - Monday through Friday
Summary of the Job:
Supervises the finance department which includes all financial related activity, payroll, accounts payable and all general ledger activity. Responsible for preparing and reviewing all financial statements and supporting schedules, reviews cost report and monthly calculations for contractuals and reimbursement, prepares and reviews the annual operating and capital budget, monitors insurance issues and coverage, performs an overall review of financial data for reasonableness.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Baccalaureate degree with Accounting major
•Masters Degree required.
•CPA desired but not necessary.
•Healthcare experience, required.
•Knowledge of computerized accounting systems and software spreadsheets required.
•Proficient in use of Excel and Word Software
•Exhibits Organizational skills
•Ability to multi-task
Physical Demands:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 50 pounds is required.
Physical Effort required: Constant (67%-100%) - talking, hearing, and seeing
Frequently (34%-66%) - NONE
Occasionally (1%-33%) -carrying, balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching
