Position/Application InformationMCNEESE STATE UNIVERSITYis currently developing a diverse pool of qualified part-time Visiting Lecturers for possible in-person (face-to-face), undergraduate teaching assignments in the Department of Psychology and Counseling beginning in Spring 2025 and continuing as needed. This position requires the instructor to provide face-to-face instruction on the McNeese State University campus.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to teach in-person classes and display a demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching. Additionally, the candidate should possess communication and interpersonal skills sufficiently to work effectively with a diverse array of students and colleagues.
Required/Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
For undergraduate courses, a master's degree in the teaching discipline or a master's degree and a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline is needed. Degrees and graduate coursework must be from a regionally accredited university.

Preferred Requirements:
College teaching experience; training and/or experience in face-to-face teaching; ability to teach a student body diverse in age, ethnicity, and academic skills.

Prospective faculty submitting transcripts from foreign universities or schools must have the coursework evaluated for equivalency to United States-accredited coursework by a University-approved agency. McNeese typically accepts evaluations by World Education Services () or Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. ece. org.
