You will work alongside experienced professionals in the field, gaining hands-on experience in prepping, installing, and finishing polished concrete and other flooring surfaces. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Surface Preparation:
Assist with prepping concrete surfaces for flooring installations, including cleaning, grinding, and leveling.
Polished Concrete:
Learn and assist in the polished concrete process, including grinding, polishing, and sealing concrete floors.
Installation Support:
Support the lead installer in the installation of various flooring materials, including epoxy coatings, polished concrete, and other flooring types.
Tool Handling:
Learn to safely and efficiently handle flooring tools and equipment.
Job Site Assistance:
Help maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring all materials and tools are properly stored and ready for use.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with the installation team to complete projects on time and to client specifications.

The ideal candidate should possess:

Experience:
Some construction experience is a big plus, especially experience with prepping concrete surfaces or the polished concrete process.
Dependability:
Must be a reliable, responsible, and hard-working individual willing to learn and take on new challenges.
Growth Mindset:
A strong desire to grow within the flooring industry and develop new skills.
Physical Fitness:
Ability to lift and move heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
Team Player:
Willingness to work collaboratively with other team members and take direction from experienced installers.

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday

Work Location:

New Orleans, LA and surrounding areas, including Harvey, Marrero, Gretna, Kenner, Metairie, Jefferson Parish, Saint Rose, Baton Rouge, Houma, and more.
