We are seeking a Senior Product Designer, Brand Experience, who excels in visual, motion, interaction, and experience design. You will shape the user experience and brand expression of our digital products, impacting millions of Zillow users. You will innovate the visual brand relationship, lead key projects, and contribute significantly to our design vision.

You will create visionary user interface models, dynamic high-fidelity prototypes, and visual assets, serving as a bridge between Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Design. Your work will create outstanding brand moments across the Zillow experience, driving our mission to be the most-loved place for movers and real estate professionals.

As a member of the Brand Experience team within the Design Foundations organization, you will collaborate across multiple design teams dedicated to search, rentals, selling, and finance.

Responsibilities:

Design and Development

• Create high-quality interface prototypes and screen designs reflecting and innovating on Zillow's new visual identity

• Develop new interaction models and UI patterns for design systems

• Enhance user experience through motion and emotional design.

• Create visual assets, including photography, illustrations, and icons.

• Contribute to the evolution of our visual language, guidelines, and principles.

Project Leadership

• Shape the product vision and visual conventions of key experiences and features.

• Lead multiple projects independently, delivering high-quality results.

• Ensure design consistency and excellence across the team.

Collaboration and Communication

• Effectively communicate and collaborate on design concepts with stakeholders.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams for cohesive design implementation.

• Collaborate on the evolution and innovation of visual identity.

Research and Advocacy

• Participate in user research and integrate findings into design solutions.

• Advocate for brand expression throughout the user experience.

System and Process

• Contribute to and maintain our comprehensive design system.

• Create artifacts for storytelling, prototyping, and user testing.

Vision and Innovation

• Envision the future of Zillow's digital experience.

• Bring the Zillow brand to life through compelling UI design.

• Help mentor other Product Designers on visual design quality and foster a culture of continuous learning.

This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.

In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

Who you are

• Portfolio: An online portfolio or samples demonstrating strong visual design expertise for high-traffic digital brand surfaces.

• Design Expertise: Deep understanding of typography, color, asset creation and user-centered design solutions.

• Experience: 5-7 years in product, visual, UX design, or similar roles.

• Interactive Design: Experience creating useful, usable, and beautifully executed interactive screens and prototypes incorporating motion design, attractive typographic layouts, and stunning visual assets.

• Marketing & Brand Design: Strong skills in marketing and brand design; a huge plus if you can design icons and work with illustrations.

• Visual Language: Expertise in visual design decisions and defining visual language.

• Communication: Excellent visual and written communication and storytelling abilities.

• Design Systems: Proficient in design system thinking, cross-platform scalability, UI/UX standards, and accessibility.

• Platform Experience: Experience designing for high-traffic native apps, web, and email.

• Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in Figma, Adobe Suite, and related design and production software.

• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Collaboration: Effective cross-team collaborator with the ability to work across multiple creative projects.
