Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Diagnose and repair various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical components.
Conduct vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs and maintenance.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately assess vehicle issues.
Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining vehicle issues and repair solutions to customers.
Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Job Requirements
Education and Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an automotive technician.
Proven experience with a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
Skills:
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Strong mechanical and technical skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Good communication skills and ability to explain complex issues to customers.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment.
Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to work in various positions, including standing, bending, and lying down.
Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Must provide your own basic tools. (We will provide special tools)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with advanced diagnostic equipment.
Previous experience working in a dealership or high-volume automotive service center.
Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
