Certifications:
ARRT Certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) current upon hire Must-Have:
- Associate's degree or higher preferred - Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited program in cardiovascular or radiologic technology - Proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write)
- Provide safe, high-quality, and efficient patient-centric care and support services in various care settings, including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers, and remote outreach clinics.
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians.
• Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams to achieve desired clinical outcomes, operational goals, and service expectations.
• Utilize specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques for a range of diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completeness, documentation, and technical quality in line with department protocols and accreditation standards.
• Transfer images and data to appropriate archival systems, enter technical data/findings, and prepare studies for physician reporting.
• Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance per manufacturer instructions and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities to maintain competencies and promote continuous improvement in care and treatments.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to patients' physical and psychological needs, maintain accurate records, and exercise discretion in handling confidential information.
• Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment toward completing assignments efficiently.
