Customer Service Representative

Job Objective:Assist with administrative support and deliver outstanding customer service. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Deal Directly with customers either by telephone or email

* Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: copying, faxing, mailing and filing

* Processing daily invoicing duties, communicating with internal and external customers.

* Coordinate and communicate customer orders/questions/requests with operations and sales teams.

* Handle and resolve customer complaints

* Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries

* Provide pricing and delivery information

* Set up new customers

* Process orders, forms, applications and request

* Organize workflow to meet customer timeframes

* Maintain customer databases

* Communicate and coordinate with internal departments

* Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process

* Track, purchase & manage stock of office and kitchen supplies as needed

* Prepare correspondence and presentations

* Prepares and coordinate mail, faxes, and express packages.

* Manage other tasks (ongoing or project) as deemed necessary by management

* Work on special projects as needed

* Must be able to analyze situations for safety and practicability, and deal with problems involving few concrete variables in fairly standardized situations.

* Must demonstrate a professional, courteous demeanor to both customers and coworkers and keep safety in mind at all times.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service required

* Proficiency in Excel required

* Experience in the lubricants industry is a plus but not required

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.

* Dependable with a positive attitude

* Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team

* Excellent interpersonal & problem-solving skills

* Excellent phone etiquette

* Customer-focused & proficient relationship builder

* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

* Ability to explore and learn other software applications

* Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines

* Accuracy and attention to detail

* Strong organizational skills
