We're looking for dedicated individuals to join our Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Training Program in Louisville, KY. This is an exciting opportunity to embark on a fulfilling career while receiving comprehensive training that we'll cover for you!!! We are seeking candidates for a 9-week PAID intensive EMT training program starting mid to late January. This full-time program includes 3 days per week of in-class instruction (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) and a 12-hour field externship beginning approximately 3-4 weeks into the program. The total commitment is about 36 hours per week, with additional study sessions available as needed.

Upon certification, candidates will commit to a 1-year full-time role with AmeriPro Health as an EMT.Key Skills to Learn:

Delivering babies
Administering oxygen, CPR, and EpiPen/Narcan for overdoses
Splinting and bandaging fractures
Conducting full medical and trauma assessments
Administering activated charcoal for overdoses

This program offers a comprehensive foundation in essential EMT skills, preparing candidates for fieldwork and a meaningful career in emergency medical services.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent qualification.
Valid motor vehicle operator's license.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written instructions in English.
Technology proficiency
Clear and successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
