Must have two years of ICU/Tele experience with medical/surgical trauma/critical patients.
Experience in a teaching hospital is required.
License:
Compact or KY State License required at time of submission.
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have:
- All licenses and certifications required to be in hand.- COVID-19 Vaccine:
Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)- Flu Vaccine:
Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)- Every other weekend required.- No request for time off 12/24-12/25 or 12/31-1/1.
- Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby.- Most units require level one trauma experience.- Background checks are required, and no licensure hits or background hits are accepted.- Previous work experience at the facility must be disclosed as it is checked for rehire eligibility.- PACU Call Policy:
- Response time:
1 hour.
• Weekday call:
8 PM to 6 AM.
• Weekends divided into two shifts:
6 AM-6 PM or 6 PM-6 AM.- Floating requirements:
- PACU to close at 8 PM, any patients left recovering will transfer to the main PACU.
• The IR PACU call team will follow and recover patients in the main PACU.- Call frequency:
Anticipate being on call for 2-3 shifts per schedule period (6 weeks).- Modules:
Average 6.5 hours, completed during orientation and annually, varying by specialty.- Orientation:
8 hours, non-billable.
This role requires a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse ready to work in a dynamic MICU environment.
