Valid Compact or State License required Certifications:
ASCP Certified Pathologists' Assistant - PA(ASCP) Must-Have:
- Prior grossing experience- Ability to perform high complexity testing- Epic Beaker and Voice Dictation experience desired- COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
- Perform duties as a Pathologists' Assistant in a Histology/Surgical Pathology unit.- Conduct high complexity testing and manage pathology specimens accurately.- Efficiently manage workflow without on-call, night, or weekend requirements.- Operate using Epic Beaker and voice dictation systems to enhance documentation efficiency.- Adhere to compliance and safety protocols.- Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.- Participate in orientation and complete necessary modules during training and annually as required. - Be prepared for potential floatation to different units or affiliate hospitals as needed.
