Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Emergency Department nursing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective department operations, managing staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Quality Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in patient care and outcomes through evidence-based practice initiatives and performance improvement strategies.
Staff Development: Mentor and empower your team through ongoing education, training, and performance feedback.
Financial Management: Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with allocated funding.
Performance Management: Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, and complaint management.

Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in the Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Prior experience in management, charge, supervisor, or other leadership roles is preferred.
Licensure/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Kentucky.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred.
- CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification preferred.

Schedule:

Full-Time: 40 hours per week.
Shift: Day Shift
