Join Our Growing Family Medicine Team at the University of Kentucky

The College of Medicine at the University of Kentucky is looking for a Family Medicine Faculty Member to join its expanding family medicine department. The UK June Buchanan Medical Clinic is committed to the health and well-being of all residents in Knott and the nearby counties. Candidates must be board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP); board-eligible new grads can apply but are expected to be board-certified in one year.

Opportunity Highlights:

The clinic offers comprehensive laboratory testing with a focus on safety and timeliness, ensuring that patients receive their results promptly, often by the next day
UK June Buchanan Medical Clinic is committed to providing care to all patients, regardless of their income or ability to pay
Providers have the option to reside in Hindman or Hazard
Work with medical students and residents from the GME Residency program in Hazard and contribute to their learning and growth
Providers can participate in clinical precepting at the residency clinic and hospital
The clinic consistently earns patient satisfaction awards within UK HealthCare, reflecting its warm and friendly staff and the positive relationships patients build with the team
Qualifying dependents can receive tuition support, and providers can access discounted courses
Receive competitive compensation, including wRVUs, relocation assistance, and potential loan forgiveness
Other practice locations are available in and outside of Lexington, KY
