Job Title: Accounting Specialist
Location: 1400 Jamike Avenue, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Temp to Hire)
Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
Support the Financial Manager with analytical activities to aid in financial reporting.
Manage inputs into the general ledger system, ensuring completeness and maintenance of financial records.
Provide support to related functions such as Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
Receive, generate, and reconcile financial information in the current accounting software.
Code, process, and research vendor invoices while maintaining accurate records in the organization's accounting system (Syteline) - training will be provided.
Process 400-500 invoices per month and apply cash receipts for the same number of invoices.
Handle vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure the accuracy of financial information, reconciling all accounts.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Accounts Receivable (AR).
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong communication, prioritization, attention to detail, and organizational skills are essential.
