This role is 2nd shift, onsite full time and based at our Bardstown, Kentucky location. Schedule: 3:00pm - 11:00pm Monday - Friday (Periodic Overtime on Saturday and Sunday as required) What the Role Is

The 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.

How You Will Spend Your Time?

Perform routine repairs and maintain all equipment to enhance efficiency and prevent malfunctions that could lead to production downtime and costly repairs
Troubleshoot malfunctions and locate source of problems by examining equipment and mechanical devices
Assist in line changes and process improvements
Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop equipment
Clean equipment, lubricate moving parts, change fluids, modify equipment and replace parts and components as required
Maintain records of all maintenance activities
Conduct preventive maintenance measures on structures, equipment, electrical, plumbing as well as facilities
Control downtime by informing production employees of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitor compliance
Support and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and training production employees on efficient operation and basic routine maintenance procedures
Maintain positive work environment by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with co-workers, customers, clients and management
Maintain safe and clean work environment

Who You Are.

Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical or related trade and minimum 4 years of experience in an industrial maintenance technician role required
Maintenance Journeyman's Card/Certificate preferred
Manufacturing experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience strongly preferred
Highly motivated, energetic, and reliable
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance techniques

Valued but not Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field
Working knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques
Previous experience in the distilled spirits industry

Physical Requirements

While performing duties of job, employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and use of computer; reach with hands and arms.

Use Personal Protective Equipment
Stand constantly and/or move in and around work areas
Climb ladders/catwalks/equipment, stoop, bend, and/or crawl
Work at elevated heights more than 5 feet above floor level
Work in awkward positions and tight areas
Lift 50 lbs. frequently and 80 lbs. occasionally
Have adequate near vision to read gauges, controls, knobs, levers and CRT's
Ability to identify color
