Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Attorney with 6 years of experience in oil & gas law or insurance defense.
This role is ideal for a skilled attorney ready to manage complex cases while mentoring and guiding newer attorneys on the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a caseload of oil & gas or insurance defense matters, ensuring high-quality legal representation.
Mentor and train junior attorneys, fostering their professional growth and development.
Collaborate with clients and team members to develop effective legal strategies and solutions.
Handle cases from inception through resolution, including litigation, negotiation, and settlement processes.
Maintain excellent client relationships and uphold the firm's high standards of service.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas.
Minimum 6 years of experience in oil & gas law or insurance defense.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing talent.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
