Overview

ExplorUS is a family-owned company with nearly 30 years of experience operating National, State, and local park concessions. Over the years we have worked to enhance, elevate, and complement the visitor's experience at each park, landmark, and property we operate. We're seeking a dynamic Manager of FP&A to deliver accurate, data-driven insights on company performance, support informed decision-making, and drive analysis for new business integration. This role offers exciting growth opportunities within our fast-growing organization. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position will be based at our Overland Park, KS corporate office.

At ExplorUS, we focus on finding small to medium-sized park operations where we can make a large difference. We take great pride in acquiring underperforming park concessions, turning them around, and bringing them up to and beyond the expectations of our park partners and park visitors.

Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to key stakeholders including the executive leadership team and ownership
Prepare weekly and monthly financial review documents for the operations team
Work closely with the operations team to analyze and understand monthly performance on a site by site and company-wide basis
Create and maintain operational reporting files used for daily revenue/volume tracking
Lead and support the budget and forecast process including file creation, maintenance, and assisting site leadership with the process
Create forecasts, budgets, and daily reporting files for newly acquired sites in a timely and consistent manner
Create financial projection models for organic ROI projects working closely with operations and other teams to create comprehensive and accurate analysis
Create financial projection models for certain new contracts/request for proposal processes
Perform high frequency/live data reporting (daily to weekly)
Facilitate monthly capital expense planning/reviews, while maintaining annual capital expense forecasting
Additional ad-hoc/other analysis and duties as requested

Qualifications

Advanced Excel skills required
ERP system knowledge preferred
Experience in a private equity-owned company and presenting to senior leadership (CFO, COO, CEO)
Ability to work independently, improve processes, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a willingness to grow in the role as the company expands
5+ years of finance experience, with a bachelor's in finance or accounting. Masters degree/MBA preferred
CPA or CFA Preferred
Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling skills (growth scenarios, acquisitions)
