Seeking an experienced underwriter knowledgeable in Primary Casualty lines who possesses expertise related to solutions for construction managers, general contractors, and owners to join the underwriting team.
Shall:
Market to wholesale brokers to secure new and renewal business.
Review submissions, terms and conditions, statement of values, loss history and catastrophic modeling and conduct appropriate research to determine the degree of risk for each account.
Determine quote or declination of risk.
Calculate rates and premium charges.
Develop and modify policy wording in accordance with delegated underwriting authority when the standard forms are not appropriate.
Cross-sell afforded products and services.
Promote offered products to current and prospective contacts through interactions with insureds and brokers.
