JOB OVERVIEW

You'll be at the heart of our production center, helping millions of customers across the world enjoy Hallmark products.
You will have a variety of duties that support the production process in numerous ways.
You'll be cross-trained across multiple departments by a support team of trainers and supervisors to help you learn every step of the way!

SALARY AND SHIFT DETAILS

• Your starting pay will be between $25.
  65 - $31.
  28 depending on your skills and experience.
  
• This position is a full-time, 5-day work week position in the 1st shift 7:
  30am - 3:
  30pm, Monday through Friday.

You will be trained to support production across different work areas in our facility.
Some of your duties may include:

• You will prepare, operate and maintain various types of equipment to make proofs and tooling.
  
• You will observe milling machine operation and adjust controls to ensure conformance with the specified tolerances and quality standards.
  
• You will maintain and correct any variances found by utilizing a variety of hand tools, such as shears, saws, grinders, and micrometers.
  
• You will operate computer systems and software programs to set up equipment (CNC mills, wastewater treatment tanks, auto-benders, Carveco, etc.
  ) efficiently, and maintain production rates.
  
• You will troubleshoot problems and perform quality checks of incoming files and tooling materials.
  
• You will work closely with internal and external partners for troubleshooting, software updates, and maintenance.
  

Important things to know:

• Flexibility is key as you will assist with all aspects of the different assignments across departments.
  
• In the production areas there is some noise.
  Hearing protection is provided by Hallmark.
  
• Overtime is available and will be covered during the interview process.
  
• A color perception test will be scheduled at the time of the interview.
  
  
  

YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

Basic Qualifications

• You're at least 18 years of age
• You have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• You have the ability to pass a color perception test
• You have the ability to constantly stand, walk, twist, bend, and reach above shoulder level
• You have the ability to grasp, lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs frequently and 60 lbs occasionally

PreferredQualifications

• Previous machine operating, pre-production, or Tooling experience
• Previous Milling or CNC operating experience, and/or relevant certifications
• Strong communication- and problem-solving skills
