POSITION:Transportation Manager

DEPARTMENT: Kansas Foster Care (Kansas City, KS)

Starting Salary: $44,000- $46,000 (Annually)

(Starting salary depends on education and experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Transportation Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all transportation services within the Cornerstones of Care Kansas Foster Care program. This role ensures the safe, timely, and efficient transport of clients while maintaining compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The Transportation Manager supervises drivers and ensures fleet operations are optimized to support the organization's mission and priorities.

The Transportation Manager plays a key role in fostering a trauma-informed environment, aligning all transportation activities with the principles of safety, growth, and empowerment.

QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a bachelor's degree, 3-5 years of experience with fleet management or scheduling and 2 years of experience in administrative or child welfare services. Must be at least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver's license, proof of current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.
